CABRA was founded under the name of EVE VZW in 2005 by Marcos Simoes, Norberto Llopis Segarra, Jaime Llopis, Sara Manente, Santiago Ribelles Zorita and Kyung Ae Ro. In 2010, they invited Varinia Canto Vila to join the group. In 2011 they changed the name to CABRA and renovated their board by inviting Lilia Mestre, Karlien Meganck and Leen Hammenecker.
